Regular Season Round 17: BC-93 RSzVSM - Politekhn.Lvov 58-62

There was no surprise in Rovno where 5th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (8-10) was defeated by third ranked Politekhn.Lvov (12-5) 62-58 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BC-93 Pulsar won third quarter 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and swingman Denys Tiutiunyk (195-92) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Politekhn.Lvov's coach Yaroslav Zubrytskyy used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Anatoly Dubniuk (202-76) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (194-97) scored 14 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Politekhn.Lvov. They maintain third place with 12-5 record having nine points less than leader Zolotoi Vek. BC-93 Pulsar lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
