No shocking result in a game in Frankivsk where first ranked Hoverla (18-2) outleveled bottom-ranked KPZO DYUSH (0-17) 91-47 on Saturday. The game without a history. Hoverla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KPZO DYUSH to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Hoverla dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to KPZO DYUSH's 22. Hoverla forced 23 KPZO DYUSH turnovers and outrebounded them 50-30 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Forward Yevgen Koroviyakov (197-88) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) chipped in 13 points, 10 assists and 7 steals. Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Point guard Sergey Bukin (180-87) responded with 9 points and point guard Yuriy Strizhevskiy (180-92) scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. KPZO DYUSH's coach Stanislav Kakovkin gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Hoverla. They maintain first place with 18-2 record. KPZO DYUSH lost their seventeenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
