Everything went according to plan in Izmir where eighth ranked Istanbulspor (14-9) beat 14th ranked Gelisim (7-16) 87-74 on Friday. Istanbulspor made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while Gelisim only scored nine points from the stripe. Gelisim was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Guard Alican Guney (194-89, agency: 1x1 Sports) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
