Top ranked Karlsruhe PS (14-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of eleventh ranked USC Leipzig on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by USC Leipzig 86-66. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Karlsruhe PS's players. American guard Cardell McFarland (182-87, college: Ky Wesleyan) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Eric Curth (193-92) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Four Karlsruhe PS players scored in double figures. USC Leipzig maintains eleventh place in South with 6-13 record. Newly promoted Karlsruhe PS still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Weissenhorn. USC Leipzig are looking forward to face league's second-placed Weissenhorn Youngstars on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Karlsruhe PS's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Karlsruhe BG Karlsruhe.
