We should mention about the upset which took place in Akhisar, where higher ranked Acibadem (16-8) lost to eleventh ranked Akhisar Bld (10-14) in a road game 78-84. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Acibadem. The winners were led by American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) who scored that evening 23 points and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) supported him with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Five Akhisar Bld players scored in double figures. Even 31 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana) did not help to save the game for Acibadem. His fellow American import forward Jason Maxiell (201-83, college: Cincinnati) added 18 points and 9 rebounds. Akhisar Bld maintains eleventh position with 10-14 record. Acibadem at the other side dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. Akhisar Bld's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Muglaorman (#18) on the road and are hoping to win another game.
