Silute rallied past Mazeikiai on the road to step closer to the quarterfinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Silute. Mazeikiai managed to win second period 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mazeikiai to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Mazeikiai 44-19 including a 33-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Ulysses Thomas (190-92, college: Kentucky St.) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and Simas Raupys (195-94) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Mantas Serksnas (200-96) responded with 16 points and point guard Ernestas Bruzas (183-96) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Four Mazeikiai players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
