Artland Dragons fired past Wuerzburg for 1-0 lead. Artland Dragons forced 20 Wuerzburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Gregory Graves (201-93, college: Mt.St.Mary's) nailed 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Stacy Wilson (190-90, college: Murray St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) accounted for 21 points and 5 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. American guard Marcellus Barksdale (196-93, college: IUPUI) came up with 43 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Wuerzburg in the defeat. Wuerzburg's coach Peter Guenschel let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
