The game with biggest result difference took place in Dresden. Local Titans (2-26) were outscored by second ranked Crailsheim Merlins (23-5) 104-74. Crailsheim Merlins shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. The winners were led by American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import guard Chase Griffin (190-83, college: Pepperdine) supported him with 30 points. Crailsheim Merlins' coach Tuomas Iisalo felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Even 19 points and 7 assists by American point guard RJ Price (180-93, college: Radford) did not help to save the game for Titans. Helge Baues (205-94) added 13 points for lost side. Four Titans players scored in double figures. Crailsheim Merlins have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 23-5 record having just two points less than leader MBC. Titans lost twelfth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 26 lost games. Crailsheim Merlins' next round opponent will be Hamburg (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. Titans will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#5) and hope to win that game.
