Nafta-Uni upset Silute on the road to seal their semifinal appearance. The guests were already 16 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-18 Silute's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 83-75 at the end of the game. Nafta-Uni. made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The winners were led by point guard Mindaugas Stasys (179-86) who scored that evening 29 points (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and Dziugas Slavinskas (203-98) supported him with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Even 19 points by American guard Brian Wanamaker (185-89, college: Texas Wesleyan) did not help to save the game for Silute. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
