Quarter-Finals Round 2: Randers - Horsens IC 82-105

Date: March 23, 2017
Horsens IC outgunned Randers to step closer to the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Randers managed to win second period 31-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Horsens IC forced 21 Randers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). International guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) chipped in 22 points and 7 assists. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) produced 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian-American guard Deuce Bello (193-92, college: E.Tenn.St.) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
