There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Uni Baskets (14-15) lost on the road to tenth ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (14-15) 67-51. Koeln Rh.Stars forced 20 Uni Baskets turnovers and outrebounded them 46-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Koeln Rh.Stars brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American point guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St., agency: HMS) who scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Dennis Heinzmann (216-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds.
