Regular Season Round 30: Sakarya BSB - Final Genclik 85-56

No shocking result in a game in Sakaraya where second ranked Sakarya BSB (25-6) smashed 17th ranked Final Genclik (6-24) 85-56 on Saturday. Sakarya BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Final Genclik's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Kerem Gonlum (208-77) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures. Sakarya BSB's coach Burak Selcuk Ernak felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Damontre Harris (208-91, college: Campbellsville) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and center Umut Durmus (204-80) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Sakarya BSB have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 25-6 record having just one point less than leader Eskisehir Basket. Final Genclik lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 24 games lost. Sakarya BSB will face Turk Telekom (#9) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Final Genclik will play at home against Akhisar Bld (#11) and hope to win that game.
