Semi-Finals Game 3: Bakken - Svendborg 93-85

Bakken paved their way into Ligaen Finals after they completed the sweep of Svendborg. The hosts trailed by 15 points at the halftime before their 54-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Bakken made 30-of-38 free shots (78.9 percent) during the game, while Svendborg only scored twelve points from the stripe. They outrebounded Svendborg 42-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Svendborg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Stefan Bonneau (177-87, college: LIU Post) with 28 points and international swingman Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
