Quarter-Finals Round 3: Craiova - UBT Cluj Napoca 71-107

UBT Cluj Napoca topped Craiova to advance into the semifinal stage. The game without a history. UBT Cluj Napoca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Craiova's players. It was a great evening for Senegalese power forward Ousmane Barro (207-84, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Ukrainian Maksym Pustozvonov (200-87) helped adding 21 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Five UBT Cluj Napoca players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jamar Abrams (201-89, college: E.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone) scored 16 points and 8 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
