Regular Season Round 28: TED Kolejliler - Gaziantep 79-89

Very predictable result in Ankara where eighth ranked Gaziantep (14-14) beat bottom-ranked TED Kolejliler (2-26) 89-79 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and Canadian-American guard Andrew Rautins (193-86, college: Syracuse) who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Gaziantep's coach Stefanos Dedas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU) responded with 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and his fellow American import forward Ian Hummer (201-90, college: Princeton) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Gaziantep maintains eighth position with 14-14 record. TED Kolejliler lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Gaziantep will meet at home Usak Sportlif (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. TED Kolejliler will play against Trabzonspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
