A very interesting game took place in Sangalhos. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 14th ranked Sangalhos (11-17) to twelfth ranked Ginasio (14-14) 73-71 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Bernardo Neves (192-96) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Marco Goncalves (206-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Luis Fonte (195-79) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and guard Pedro Seabra (-94) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Sangalhos players scored in double figures. Sangalhos' coach Francisco Gradeco tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Ginasio moved-up to tenth place in Places 9-16, which they share with Belenenses CF. Sangalhos at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
