Regular Season Round 29: Gaziantep - Usak 111-91

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Usak Sportlif (8-21) was outscored on the road by eighth ranked Gaziantep (15-14) 111-91. Gaziantep shot 64.6 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 63.3 percentage. Gaziantep players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian-American guard Andrew Rautins (193-86, college: Syracuse) who scored 32 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). American point guard Will Cherry (185-91, college: Montana) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Latvian Rolands Freimanis (208-88, agency: Alti Sport) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and American Shaquielle McKissic (196-90, college: Arizona St.) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gaziantep moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pinar Karsiyaka. Usak Sportlif lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 21 games lost. Gaziantep's next round opponent will be Istanbul BBSK (#10) on the road. Usak Sportlif will play against Trabzonspor (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
