Bakken celebrated the 15th Ligaen title. They overcame Horsens IC to claim 4-1 victory in the championship series. Horsens IC trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 73-81 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Horsens IC 41-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) stepped up and scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and was named the Finals MVP. Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) responded with 13 points and 9 assists and international guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures.
