Steaua CSM fired past CSU Sibiu to advance into Finals. CSU Sibiu was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 38-18 second half run of Steaua CSM. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. CSU Sibiu was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Dave Dudzinski (206-92, college: Holy Cross, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Marius Runkauskas (189-86, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Steaua CSM players scored in double figures. American guard Marcel Davis (188-94, college: Utah Valley) replied with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Bogdan Popescu (200-78, college: Alaska-Fairb.) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for CSU Sibiu. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
