Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Gaziantep (16-14) beat on the road 10th ranked Istanbul BBSK (11-19) 92-76 on Saturday. Gaziantep made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) chipped in 24 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures.
