Regular season champion finally claimed their Final spot as they defeated Wels at home in decisive Game 5.The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Chris McNealy (194-92, college: Cal-Irvine) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. His fellow American import guard Andell Cumberbatch (196-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Lorenzo O'Neal (188-88) added 15 points and 6 assists in the effort for Raiffeisen Wels.
