Regular Season Round 2: Duzce Bld. - Selcuklu 82-95

No shocking result in a game when Selcuklu (2-0) defeated on the road Duzce Belediye (0-2) 95-82 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Selcuklu. Duzce Belediye was better in fourth quarter 31-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Selcuklu shot 61.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 68.4 percentage. Selcuklu looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: Rhode Island) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Izzet Turkyilmaz (212-90) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Selcuklu players scored in double figures. Power forward Eren Ocakturk (204-87, agency: 1x1 Sports) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Duzce Belediye's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Selcuklu will face Yalova Bld (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Duzce Belediye will play against Bursaspor (#10) and hope to win that game.
