The game in Frankfurt was also quite interesting. SG Schwelmer Baskets (3-0) played at the court of Fraport Skyliners II (1-2). SG Schwelmer Baskets defeated Fraport Skyliners II 76-63 on Saturday. They outrebounded Fraport Skyliners II 39-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Chris Hortman (190-88, college: Wisc.-Stout) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Lithuanian swingman Andrius Mikutis (194-88, college: John Brown) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four SG Schwelmer Baskets players scored in double figures. SG Schwelmer Baskets' coach Falk Moeller used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Alex Fountain (201-95, college: Houston Baptist) with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Garai Zeeb (187-97) scored 9 points and 9 assists. SG Schwelmer Baskets will face Giessen 46ers II (#6) at home in the next round. Fraport Skyliners II will play against Karlsruhe SC and hope to win that game.
