Round 4 most important game was a victory of MLP Academics Heidelberg over 7th ranked White Wings 65-51 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of White Wings. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Evan McGaughey (203-94, college: Quincy) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import swingman Shy Ely (193-87, college: Evansville, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. MLP Academics Heidelberg's coach Branislav Ignjatovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (193-92) replied with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for White Wings. MLP Academics Heidelberg maintains second position with 3-1 record behind leader Vechta, which they share with 4 other teams. White Wings at the other side keep the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. MLP Academics Heidelberg is looking forward to face Hamburg (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
