Regular Season Round 4: Stahnsdorf - Bochum 74-76

Everything could happen in Stahnsdorf at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked AstroStars and 10th ranked RSV Eintracht had identical 1-2 record. But RSV Eintracht was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Bochum 76-74 on Sunday night. RSV Eintracht was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Alexander Angerer (203-96) fired 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Mark Gebhardt (198-94) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. American Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Daniel Kirchner (174-97) added 18 points respectively for lost side. RSV Eintracht's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AstroStars (2-2) moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and ETB Wohnbau. RSV Eintracht lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. AstroStars will face Itzehoe (#8) at home in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck and hope to win that game.
