Leader Vytis delivered the sixth victory on Friday night. This time they beat 13th ranked Perlas (1-6) 84-69 in Sakiai. It was a great evening for forward Marijus Uzupis (197-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 9 points and 9 assists. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. At the losing side Martynas Maskolaitis (200-97) responded with 20 points and power forward Lukas Kvedaravicius (206-97) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Vytis have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Perlas lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Palanga. Vytis will meet Telsiai (#5) in the next round. Perlas will play against Jonava (#6) and hope to win that game.
