Regular Season Round 7: BSW Sixers - Neustadt TSV 81-69

Date: October 28, 2017
Very predictable result when leader Sixers (6-0) won against 7th ranked Neustadt TSV (2-3) in Sandersdorf 81-69 on Saturday. Sixers had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Neustadt TSV's players. It was a very good performance for American forward Terrence Williams (198-93, college: Charlotte) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Arunas Sakalauskas (191-91) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Sixers' coach Tomas Grepl allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Jake Marvin (203, college: Hastings) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) added 21 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Neustadt TSV. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Sixers. They used an opportunity after Aschersleben lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position in North. Neustadt TSV lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. Sixers will have a break next round. Neustadt TSV will play at home against Goetting.ASC (#4) and hope to win that game.
