Regular Season Round 7: Muenchen OSB - Vilsbiburg 81-83

A very interesting game took place in Muenchen. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Muenchen OSB (3-3) to leader Vilsbiburg (6-0) 83-81 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. 26 personal fouls committed by Muenchen OSB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. British forward Joshua Guddemi (201-94, college: New Haven) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Vilsbiburg players scored in double figures. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) produced 28 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) added 20 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Vilsbiburg. They maintain first place in South-East with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Muenchen OSB dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Vilsbiburg's next round opponent will be Rosenheim (#9) at home and are hoping to win another game. Muenchen OSB will play against GGZ Baskets in Zwickau and hope to win that game.
