Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Cuxhaven and 12th ranked RSV Eintracht had identical 1-5 record. This time Cuxhaven used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Stahnsdorf 92-85 on Tuesday night. RSV Eintracht was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Australian-British forward Obi Kyei (206-94, college: Eckerd, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Jannes Hundt (184-96) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) answered with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cuxhaven (2-5) moved-up to ninth place in North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and Itzehoe. RSV Eintracht lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. Cuxhaven will face higher ranked AstroStars (#8) in Bochum in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RSV Eintracht will play at home against Oldenburg (#7) and hope to win that game.
