Regular Season Round 6: Wolfpack/BMS - Randers 78-77

A very close game took place in Skovlunde between BMS Skovlunde and Randers. Eighth ranked BMS Skovlunde (1-6) got a very close home victory over 6th ranked Randers (2-3). BMS Skovlunde managed to escape with a 1-point win 78-77 on Thursday evening. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 22-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. BMS Skovlunde forced 23 Randers turnovers and outrebounded them 39-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Oliver Stroeh (192-94, college: Shippensburg) supported him with 25 points and 5 assists. Even 18 points by American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) did not help to save the game for Randers. His fellow American import forward Jerrell Williams (203-88, college: La Salle) added 18 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Four Randers players scored in double figures. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. BMS Skovlunde left bottom position moving up to seventh place. Loser Randers keep the sixth position with three games lost. BMS Skovlunde will again meet higher ranked Randers (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Randers will have a break next round.
