Bottom-ranked UBSC Graz is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to sixth ranked Vienna (3-4) 102-78 on Thursday evening. Vienna forced 19 UBSC Graz turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) who led the winners and scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists. American point guard Reger Dowell (185-91, college: Texas Arlington) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side. American center Darien Nelson-Henry (211-94, college: Pennsylvania) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz., agency: Diamond Sports) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for UBSC Graz in the defeat. Five Vienna and four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Vienna maintains sixth place with 3-4 record. UBSC Graz lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Vienna will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UBSC Graz will play against Arkadia Lions (#3) in Traiskirchen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
