Regular Season Round 8: Fellbach - Tuebingen II 70-76

Very expected game when 10th ranked Fellbach (3-5) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Tuebingen II (5-2) 76-70 on Sunday. Fellbach was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Jacob Mampuya (200-94) who helped to win the game recording 43 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Albanian forward Vildan Mitku (200-83) who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward David Rotim (197-85, agency: SportsVision-Service) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Polish point guard David Michalczyk (180-89) scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Fellbach's coach Jens Leutenecker let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tuebingen II moved-up to third place in South-West, which they share with Langen. Fellbach lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. Tuebingen II will face Crailsheim II (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Fellbach will play against BG Karlsruhe and hope to win that game.
