Regular Season Round 9: Stuttgart - Kronberg 79-75
Date: November 11, 2017
There was no surprise when 12th ranked Kronberg (2-6) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Stuttgart (5-3) 79-75 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Cyrill Da-Silva (183-83) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Stuttgart's coach Torsten Boeringer used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Yannick Schicktanz (186-90) who recorded 14 points and center Julian Reinwald (209) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively. The victory was the third consecutive win for Stuttgart. They moved-up to sixth place in South-West, which they share with Langen and Saarlouis/Dillingen. Newly promoted Kronberg keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. Stuttgart will face Fellbach (#9) on the road in the next round. Kronberg will play against Saarlouis/Dillingen and hope to win that game.
