The game between Top Four teams took place in Klaipeda. 4th ranked host Neptunas-Akv. (7-5) lost to first ranked Vytis (11-1) 85-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Neptunas-Akv.. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) who added 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Arunas Mikalauskas (202-97, agency: BeoBasket) with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vytis have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Taurages. Vytis are looking forward to face Delikatesas (#12) in Joniskis in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Neptunas-Akv. will play at home against KTU (#14) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
