Karlsruhe SC can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat FC Bayern II (2-7) 82-70 on Saturday. FC Bayern II was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Benjamin Kaufhold (186-89) who scored 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Croatian swingman Luka Drezga (196-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 21 points. Karlsruhe SC's coach Jaivon Harris allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Karim Jallow (199-97) who recorded 27 points and 5 rebounds and Austrian forward Marvin Ogunsipe (204-96) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Karlsruhe SC (1-8) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in South, which they share with Wuerzburg. Loser FC Bayern II keeps the tenth position with seven games lost.
