An interesting game where host Oldenburg (#8) rolled over 4th placed Artland Dragons with 20-point difference 76-56 on Sunday evening. Oldenburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Artland Dragons' players. Power forward Marcel Kessen (207-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Croatian power forward Marko Bacak (211-95) chipped in 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Max Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Andre Calvin (201-85, college: Drake) scored 6 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oldenburg (4-5) moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Artland Dragons keep the fourth position with three games lost. Oldenburg will meet Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#9) on the road in the next round.
