Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Ankara D.S.I. (2-7) was outscored on the road by ninth ranked Istanbulspor (5-4) 107-82 on Saturday. Istanbulspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a good game for American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Tyrone Brazelton (184-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 23 points and 7 assists for the winners. Istanbulspor's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international swingman Rifat-Murat Kaya (194-84, agency: 1x1 Sports) answered with 24 points and American point guard Keifer Sykes (183-93, college: Green Bay) added 20 points and 6 assists in the effort for Ankara D.S.I.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
