Regular Season Round 10: Bamberg - Schwabing 70-82

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Schwabing and 10th ranked Bamberg had identical 3-5 record. But Bamberg was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Schwabing 82-70 on Sunday night. Schwabing made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Schwabing outrebounded Bamberg 47-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Joshua Obiesie (196) fired 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. William Bessoir (203-99) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Schwabing players scored in double figures. Guard Kilian Hubatschek (190-93) produced 9 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Dutch forward Frederik Adriaans (200-95) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Bamberg's coach Rainer Wolfschmitt tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Schwabing (4-5) moved-up to sixth place in South-East, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Bamberg keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Schwabing will face Jena II (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bamberg will play against Ansbach (#6) and hope to win that game.
