Regular Season Round 9: Mladost ZE - OKK Beograd 63-64

A very interesting game took place in Zemun. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th ranked Mladost ZE (4-5) to tenth ranked OKK Beograd (4-5) 64-63 in the game for the ninth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mladost ZE. It was a good game for naturalized Bosnian point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, agency: Interperformances) who saved his team from a defeat with 10 points and 7 assists. Swingman Radovan Djokovic (197-96, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Forward Aleksa Novakovic (200-96, college: E.Illinois) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Bratislav Jekovic (202-96) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mladost ZE. Four Mladost ZE players scored in double figures. OKK Beograd moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Mladost ZE. OKK Beograd's next round opponent will be higher ranked Vrsac (#5) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
