Regular Season Round 13: Ebstorf - Neustadt TSV 60-93

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Ebstorf (0-12) was rolled over at home by second ranked Neustadt TSV (8-3) 93-60 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV forced 27 Ebstorf turnovers. Ebstorf was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) fired 17 points for the winners. Naturalized American swingman Xavier Williams (190, college: Holy Family) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. Five Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. Swingman Konrad Burda (195-96) produced 16 points and center Tim Skoeries (205-91) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Neustadt TSV. Newly promoted Neustadt TSV maintains second place in North with 8-3 record having eight points less than leader Muenster. Ebstorf lost their twelfth game in a row. Ebstorf at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Neustadt TSV will face Westerstede (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
