Brazilian center Augusto Lima (207-91) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Besiktas' coach Ufuk Sarica used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
