Very expected game when 16th ranked Baunach (1-12) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Chemnitz (5-8) 83-67 on Sunday. Chemnitz outrebounded Baunach 35-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Malte Ziegenhagen (198-91, college: Keiser) fired 26 points and 4 assists for the winners (made all of his eight free throws). Polish-American guard Andy Mazurczak (188-93, college: Wisc.-Parkside, agency: Duran International) chipped in 9 points and 8 assists. Chemnitz's coach Rodrigo Pastore allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Tibor Taras (197-97) produced 26 points and Australian guard William McDowell-White (195-98, college: Fresno St.) added 5 points, 10 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Chemnitz maintains tenth place with 5-8 record, which they share with Trier. Loser Baunach stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
