Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Oldenburg (6-8) was defeated at home by third ranked SSV Lok Bernau (9-5) 75-66 on Saturday. Oldenburg was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Robert Kulawick (192-86) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Dexter Werner (198-94, college: N.Dakota St.) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Bosnian point guard Robert Drijencic (190-96) responded with 19 points and American forward Christian Jones (201-93, college: UNLV, agency: BeoBasket) scored 6 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SSV Lok Bernau moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Art.Dragons. Loser Oldenburg dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. SSV Lok Bernau will face SC Rist Wedel (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oldenburg will play against Cuxhaven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
