An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sakiai. First ranked Vytis faced 4th ranked Neptunas-Akv.. Host Vytis (19-3) defeated guests from Klaipeda (14-8) 81-68. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) fired 9 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Point guard Mindaugas Stasys (179-86) produced 20 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Vytis maintains first position with 19-3 record. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Vytis are looking forward to face Perlas (#11) in Vilnius in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Neptunas-Akv. will play on the road against Telsiai (#5) in Telsiu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
