Regular Season Round 11: Horsens IC - Randers 102-76

Date: December 28, 2017
Leader Horsens IC recorded the twelfth victory on Thursday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Randers (5-6) 102-76. Horsens IC made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Horsens IC outrebounded Randers 40-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Bosnian forward Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. The former international center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: G.Washington) helped adding 28 points. American-Belizean forward Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) responded with 23 points and American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Horsens IC. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Loser Randers keep the fifth position with six games lost. Horsens IC will meet at home Naestved (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Randers will play against Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
