BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (14-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked ratiopharm Ulm (9-6) 89-75. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of ratiopharm Ulm. Bayern Muenchen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Jared Cunningham (194-91, college: Oregon St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 steals and swingman Reggie Redding (195-88, college: Villanova) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Joseph Lewis (188-92, college: Louisville) responded with 22 points and forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-1 record. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side keeps the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Telekom Bsk and EWE Baskets. Bayern Muenchen are looking forward to face Mitteldeutscher BC (#14) in Weissenfels in the next round which should be an easy win for them. ratiopharm Ulm will play on the road against Brose Baskets (#6) in Bamberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
