A very interesting game took place in Duzce. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 10th ranked Akhisar Bld (8-9) to eleventh ranked Duzce Belediye (8-9) 72-70 in the fight for the tenth place. American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Ersin Gorkem (198-77) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Duzce Belediye's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Akhisar Bld. Duzce Belediye moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Akhisar Bld. Duzce Belediye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Acibadem (#6) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
