Regionalliga top team - Sixers (13-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Ebstorf (0-13) in Sandersdorf 90-54. They outrebounded Ebstorf 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Sixers players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ebstorf's players. It was a good game for American forward Terrence Williams (198-93, college: Charlotte) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian Eimantas Stankevicius (190-98, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Leo-Niclas Niebuhr (208-86) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Andreas Willing (196-81) added 15 points in the effort for Ebstorf. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Sixers. They maintain first place in North with 13-0 record. Ebstorf lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Sixers' next round opponent will be Westerstede (#9) at home and are hoping to win another game. Ebstorf will play against Goetting.ASC (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
