Regular Season Round 13: Horsholm - Randers 100-91

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Randers (6-7) were defeated on the road by third ranked Horsholm (9-4) 100-91 on Thursday. Randers trailed by 17 points at halftime and as many as 24 after three quarters before a 36-21 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 91-100 at the end of the game. Horsholm had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Horsholm looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). At the losing side American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Chris Nielsen (193-85) scored 17 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsholm moved-up to second place. Randers at the other side keep the fifth position with seven games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face Naestved (#4) on the road in the next round. Randers will play against Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
