Regular Season Round 15: Besiktas - Demir IBB 78-65

Very expected game when 11th ranked Demir IBB (5-10) lost to third ranked Besiktas (11-4) in Istanbul 65-78 on Saturday. It was a good game for American Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Josh Adams (188-93, college: Wyoming) contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. FYR Macedonian swingman Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 14 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and Burak-Can Yildizli (202-94) added 15 points in the effort for Demir IBB. Five Besiktas and four Demir IBB players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Besiktas maintains third place with 11-4 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Demir IBB lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost.
